I (Ali) started RnC Games as a means to express my creativity and to keep me sane throughout the long days of lockdown. I was struggling in many ways and game design was an escape from the harsh reality. I drew inspiration from classic dungeon crawler games as well as modern titles like Desolate and Escape the Dark Castle. Ironically, my first game design was an economic simulation game, Mini House Flipper.

What does RnC stand for, you may ask. I honestly forgot what it stands for at this point. A long time ago, a friend and I planned to run a business where we sell robot arms and computer software. I came up with the amazing name Muscles and Computers but my friend did not like it. In the end, we decided to give it a simpler name, more reflective of the business, Robots, and Computers. In 2020, I revived the name for my game design studio.
